Air Jordan 5 Retro OG "Grape" (HQ7978-100)

Originally released in 1990, they were designed by Tinker Hatfield, the creator of the legendary Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4. The Air Jordan 5 are inspired by the fighter jet highlighting MJ's aggressive style of play. That's why the "shark teeth" are visible on the midsole. The "grapes" are one of the original "OG" colorways of the Air Jordan 5. This one, however, stood out due to the Non-Bulls-themed colors, which Michael Jordan was playing for in the NBA at the time. They also have a huge cultural impact, as Will Smith wore them on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. This made them a staple model of Jordan sneakers. This led to the 2018 release of the "Fresh Prince" laceless iteration of the AJ5 Grapes.
